Joanna Turned 4 Yesterday!

She had a VERY Happy Birthday! We had family in town, and we went to All Aboard Diner.The kids loved seeing all the trains!They even had a train that brought your food from the kitchen.
Joanna got some dress-up clothes for her birthday.Aunt Joanna helped her put on the new jewelry with her
new pajamas, which she says is her "Princess Dress".

Trip to Myrtle Beach

We decided to leave our kids with Lloyd's parents last week
and take a vacation! We found a good price on tickets
with Spirit Airlines and flew to Myrtle Beach.

We got a great deal on a rental car through priceline. When we went to pick up our car, they offered us this for $5 more per day! That was one offer we couldn't pass up! : )

We also booked our hotel through priceline.
They gave us this resort for only $35 a night.
(The normal cost was $165 a night!)

We had a room on the eleventh floor with a great view!
This was the living room, and
the kitchen and bedroom were behind it.

The morning sun was beautiful, and
the sound of the waves was so relaxing.

This was our celebration of five years of marriage.
We went golfing together for the first time. Here is the pro!

We heard a crash! Then Carter's cute little voice said...

"I wopped my shiwee, Mom!"
(I dropped my chili, Mom!) So now we know - Corelle dishes do break!

Joanna's new haircut

She did this all by herself too!
We got him straightened out, and they were ready for the day.
(By the way, Joanna picked out her own socks.)

Joanna loved having friends spend the night at our house.
Madelyn and Christopher were happy to be here too.

The Sumlin kids were up early to have their breakfast,
so they were hungry again by the time Carter had his. ; )

Aunt Rachel was here to help and have fun with us. We want her to come back and stay! : )
